We hit the road last weekend: central New Hampshire to Pittsburg, PA, and back. We drove from one green spot on the map to the next, checked out all sorts of pretty little forest roads and trails, and then on the return drive, stopped at the AT just past Bennington, VT. Many miles still lay ahead of us, but those rocks and white blazes felt an awful lot like home.
Yay! Looks like some happy hiking doggies 🙂

Pittsburgh is only 3 hours from me. Holler if you head back this way! Or, you know, if you’d like to visit and hike a bunch, we’ve got a guest bedroom or two and we’re dog friendly. =)

Oh, I wish I had known! We’re home now, but I will definitely let you know when we end up in the area again. I always forget how far west West Virginia goes!
